FAQs

I’m new to fitness - can I do this?

Yes. The workouts are low-impact, joint-friendly, and led by expert female coaches. Whether you’re a beginner or getting back into movement, you can go at your own pace with full guidance throughout.

What if I’m on HRT?

That’s no problem. This programme supports all journeys, whether you’re taking HRT or not. It’s a lifestyle approach that works alongside medical support to help you feel better day to day.

Do I need special equipment?

Just a mat and a dumbbell set with 20-30kg of weight plates you can add and remove. That’s it. Everything is designed for home use with minimal kit, so you can work out safely, comfortably, and confidently wherever you are.

Can I join if I’m post-menopausal?

Absolutely. This programme is for anyone going through perimenopause, menopause, or beyond. Wherever you are on the journey, Pause is here to help you feel stronger and more energised.

I’ve never done a programme like this before - will I be able to keep up?

Yes. The structure is simple, the support is strong, and you’ll be guided every step of the way. Every workout includes modifications, and the focus is on consistency, not perfection.

What if my symptoms flare up during the programme?

You’ll have full flexibility to adapt when needed. With calming tools, expert guidance, and a community that understands, you’ll be supported on good days and bad – and you won’t fall behind.

Can I do this if I’m taking medication?

Yes. Pause is not a medical treatment – it’s a lifestyle upgrade. It can complement your current care, but we always advise speaking to your GP if you have any concerns before starting.

Can I do this in my country?

Yes. Pause is available to anyone that has an internet connection. The Six Pack Revolution has had participants in over 90 countries.

Will there be men in the group?

No. We’ve created the Pause groups as safe, supportive spaces for women only – where you can talk openly, share experiences, and connect with others on the same journey. From time to time, we may welcome expert guests on live Zooms, and some of them may be male (such as doctors or specialists), but your main group environment will always remain women-only.
